We’re Charlottesville’s go-to spot for sandwich and salad catering—from office lunches for 15 to UVA welcome events for 800. FAQ

  • You can place catering orders online through our Toast ordering platform with at least 60 hours’ notice.

    You’re also welcome to email us at Eat@ivyprovisions.com or call 434-202-1308 during business hours. We offer both pickup and delivery.

  • Delivery is scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. We deliver Monday–Friday from 10am–2pm.  

    If you need delivery outside that window, please call or email us—we’ll do our best to accommodate, but we can’t always guarantee availability.

    Our delivery radius is 5 miles. If needing a delivery that is beyond that, please contact us and we will see what we can do!

  • Typically orders over 10 sandwiches will be considered a catering order. The catering menu is different from the regular menu and usually requires at least 24-hour notice to be able to complete. If the order is larger (over 30) more notice is needed.

  • All of our catering items are designed to be prepared in larger quantities. Our offerings travel well and hold up for 30–60 minutes before your event. For that reason, our catering menu is served cold, and some breakfast and lunch options aren’t available. Unless otherwise noted, sandwiches are served cold on a baguette (with one option on a spinach wrap).

  • At the moment, we are unable to fulfill breakfast catering orders.

  • A Baggo is our version of a “boxed lunch”. The price includes a Sandwich or salad, a side, and a dessert all bagged together with a description of the sandwich stapled to the front of the bag for easy identification.

  • A Box is our version of a “sandwich platter”. It comes with 8 sandwiches, all cut in half and face up in a box. A Classic Box comes with pairs of 4 of our most popular sandwiches. A Custom Box, any sandwich from the catering menu can be chosen as long as the end quantity is 8 total sandwiches.

  • Yes! Gluten free boxes can be done only if all 8 sandwiches are done as gluten free. Gluten free and regular sandwiches cannot be combined in the same box. You can always order gluten free sandwiches on the side in addition to an order if needed.

  • Absolutely! As long as they are from the Catering Menu, you can order as many individual sandwiches as needed if not wanting to do the “baggos” or “boxes” format.

  • Each order has a 15% gratuity added automatically, which goes directly to the staff that work to prepare your order. If you need delivery there is also a $25 delivery charge. Other than that, just your normal taxes – don’t forget to mention if you are ordering for a tax-exempt organization!

  • Ivy Provisions is not a full-service caterer.  We do not offer service, rentals, or hot food. If delivering we are able to set up the order onsite. Our salads, deli sides, sandwich boxes, baggos, and desserts are well packaged for transport, delicious, and ready to serve for pickup or delivery.
