We are the go-to catering specialist for sandwiches and salads in Charlottesville.  We've done everything from a small office lunch for 15, to a large welcome luncheon at UVA for 800.  We regularly cater events for a wide range of UVA schools and athletics' teams.  We've done everything from wedding-related events to holiday parties, to Foxfield tailgates to just about any other kind of event where delicious sandwiches and salads would be a hit.

Our catering menu includes handcrafted sandwiches, salads large enough for a group, deli sides, chips, and drinks. Ask about delivery or pickup options. All catering is served cold to ensure that you receive quality food no matter the size or time of your event.

FAQ

  • We offer convenient online catering ordering through our Toast platform. There is a 60-hour lead time required for online ordering. You can also email us at Eat@ivyprovisions.com or call us during business hours at 434-202-1308. We offer pickup or delivery.

  • Delivery is based on time slot availability, first come first serve. We deliver Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm. If you need an order outside the normal range, please email or call to discuss options. We will try to work with you and your needs, though cannot always guarantee a delivery order outside our normal range.

  • Typically orders over 10 sandwiches will be considered a catering order. The catering menu is different from the regular menu and usually requires at least 24-hour notice to be able to complete. If the order is larger (over 30) more notice is needed.

  • The catering menu is designed to be able to be prepared in larger quantities and hold well while traveling or to be able to be set up half an hour to an hour before an event starts. Therefore, all catering is served cold, with breakfast and some lunch items unavailable. All other sandwiches are served cold on baguette (aside from one on a spinach wrap).

  • At the moment, we are unable to fulfill breakfast catering orders.

  • A Baggo is our version of a “boxed lunch”. The price includes a Sandwich or salad, a side, and a dessert all bagged together with a description of the sandwich stapled to the front of the bag for easy identification.

  • A Box is our version of a “sandwich platter”. It comes with 8 sandwiches, all cut in half and face up in a box. A Classic Box comes with pairs of 4 of our most popular sandwiches. A Custom Box, any sandwich from the catering menu can be chosen as long as the end quantity is 8 total sandwiches.

  • Yes! Gluten free boxes can be done only if all 8 sandwiches are done as gluten free. Gluten free and regular sandwiches cannot be combined in the same box. You can always order gluten free sandwiches on the side in addition to an order if needed.

  • Absolutely! As long as they are from the Catering Menu, you can order as many individual sandwiches as needed if not wanting to do the “baggos” or “boxes” format.

  • Each order has a 15% gratuity added automatically, which goes directly to the staff that work to prepare your order. If you need delivery there is also a $25 delivery charge. Other than that, just your normal taxes – don’t forget to mention if you are ordering for a tax-exempt organization!
