To celebrate the spring season, Ivy Provisions is hosting a wine and food pairing event on Sunday, April 24, 6 to 8 pm with your hosts Chef Tommy Lasley and Wine Director Joyce Watson. We'll offer a selection of white and red wines, a rosé and a bubbly will be paired with our fabulous menu. The plated Canapés are a Chilled Pea Soup with Buttermilk Soufflé, Lump Crab Meat Salad with Crème Fraiche and Herbs, and Braised Pork Belly with Pickled Green Onions. The main course will be served family style: Smoked Rock Barn Pork Chops, Spring Peas, Green Apples, and Salsa Verde; Roasted Asparagus with Hazelnuts and Parmesan; Tarragon Poached Shrimp; Toasted Faro Casserole and for dessert "Donegal" Oatmeal Pastry Cream Parfaits with Fresh Berries.
